i have questions regarding battery repacking..
i have these sideXside packs.. 4x 3300 all gp's and 1x 3800 intellect..

and the 3300's charges almost 2500-2700mah only.. then the intellect charges 3200-3400mah only..

i want to repack the cells and get the best cells for each pack.. can i?? i dont have any discharger like ctx-d or something.. the only i have is the ctx cell master.. can i by charging 1cell at a time then record the voltage and mah rating on the cell??

You can yes check out each cell by charing it individually and then paring them up however most of the time the fact that you have to unsolder and solder the batteries will sometimes cause more a perfromance loss then trying to re-match them . Also do not mix the 3800's in with the 3300's. Another thing to remember a pack is only as strong as it's weakest cell.

What I would do is check each cell with a volt meter and look for any weak links and replace just those cells rather then a complete re-match.

I charged a pack then put it on the discharger at 20 amps. During the discharge I used a digital multimeter to see what voltage each individual cell was putting out. I figure I could spot a bad cell this way. To my disappointment, on a poorly performing pack, all cells read about the same, 1.1 volts. So I conclude that at least for this pack, there was no weak link, just tired cells overall. Maybe you could try the same, and find different results.

I did the same and noticed significant diferences. The best cell gave 1.1v @20A for almost forever. 5 cells in 18 would drop to 0,5v in a matter of seconds.
