I love the Lowenbrau car!!! I wish we could get back to more realistic, scale looking paint jobs. While the other body you posted is very nice, I am getting tired of the circus paint jobs. I keep meaning to do a scale paint job but just never seem to have the time to find stickers like you used on the Lowenbrau body.

Any tips on where to find those types of stickers?

Thanks. I love the Lowenbrau car, too. It's got a blue pearl over the light blue and the other blues, and the dark area fades through 3 different metallics. It's a simple looking design, but a pretty slick paint job.

The decals have been collecting in my decal box for years, waiting for the right body. I have one other sheet, patiently waiting for a nice Andy's 956 body to pop up for an Al Holbert tribute.

Keep your eyes peeled on eBay for old decal sheets that pop up every once in a while.

I almost solely paint realistic scale paint jobs based on real cars... but personally, I'd like at least ONE circus paint job...

samples:

all custom decals (by me) all micros

Heres a pic of my beast!

Nothing much out of the ordinary underneath; just a bog standard L4 with a CRC dura shock and CRC axle blocks (to allow use of small diameter foams).

As for electrics, I use a nosram 4* brushless/matrix evo system, KO radio and servo, orion IB4200 cells and a li-po rx pack.

The body is a parma zytek; basically a parma speed 8 without the cockpit on. The speed 8 and proto speed 12 aren't legal over here in the uk, so the zytek is the next best thing.

Oh and GRP tyres as well (thought I'd better put a plug in for the sponsors! )

Came 5th at the last uk national.

Here's a couple of pics of my C12. Took the pic of the bodyshell a little while ago so does not look as new anymore!

Cheers all,

Chris.
