I ran the Cyrul steering extension tonight for the first time.

I have to say I'm a big fan! It brings the ackerman to a bit more equal-steer, but since it's actually fixing the geometry, the car gains steering and corner speed through the middle and exit of the corner.

Default ackerman extensions

Hi can anyone tell me how far further back the new holes in the ackerman extensions are in relation to the standard holes.

Thanks

Any pics of this steering mod??

Thanks to all.

For setup try Josh Hohnstein/Milwaukee, good base, might need a little tweaking, but a good start.

Unfortunately, I'm 'rubber retarded' or as my friends like to call it, 'special'. so, I can't say. But it looks like Johny Wishbone is saying that Josh Hohnstein/Milwaukee would be a good starting point.

hey guys. Yes the extension was better on my rubber car. I hope Specialized has them out soon. I know it takes some time. I think there will be two varietys pf ackerman adjustments.. Also the Cefx exstension on the steering works great if you run the small pulleys but will not work with the larger ones.

I have not tested on carpet yet but plan on doing this as soon as there is some rug to be ran on :0
