Josh,

You decided to go with Jack even though others were running Paragon? Do you feel like it works better for rubber tires? Also, did you mess with warmers at all?

1.5 rear toe seems like a lot less than many people run. Do you mess with this much, or generally leave it at 1.5?

I'd love to try less caster. Some companies seem married to the idea of 4 deg. :-\

Edit: Read the club setup, nm about the rear toe.

Adam,

I did run paragon and I also cleaned with hurricane "whip grip". no warmers.........the track had plenty of bite so warmers were not an issue.

The phi comes with 2* rear toe and I only decresed it to achieve the forward bite feel that I was looking for...........1/2* does almost nothing.

Hows Denver??

Thanks Josh, I appreciate it.

Denver is a great place with a lot of on-road racers that genuinely seem to enjoy the hobby. The only permanent on-road track is about 90 miles away, but the club here does a huge temporary carpet track during the winter, and there's a LOT of asphalt racing during the summer. I'm not getting the carpet wheel time I'd like, but maybe some diversity (doing off-road and asphalt on-road) in the meantime will do me good.

I'm gonna try hitching a ride with Sydor when he comes through Denver on his way to IIC. I need to see these epic beat downs you're handing out in person. :-)

Back to a Corally Adam?

I have seen the Hohnstein beat-down in person and it is indeed epic. Great job Josh, see ya at The Track if you make it down there sometime.

Naah, I'm in too deep with the 416's now, and they've been a dream so far. I just don't get the lack of chubs outside of 4 deg.

If I decide it's time for another change, a Phi would be next. I just hope I can fit a 416 diff in one! :-D

Well guys back from a very dissapointing nationals... This was by far the worse race and luck i have had in a long time.. The car was awesome my driving was not so awesome.. Not sure what happend just one of those off weekends. Felt like if something was going to go bad it did...

Anyways the Cars were very good in all classes and Corally was well represented .. Congrats to the rubber tire king josh and Ray Darroch the 1/12th superstock champ... and all the rest of the corally drivers who had great weekend,

See you all at the next race..

I will try and get back on here every other day or so and answer any questions you might have.

Josh, congrats on the new bling you are sporting.

Nice job on your recent victory. Just a quick question, why the change to lighter oil in the front? What were you looking for the car to do that justified this change?
