Hi Mike - This car is SOOWWEEEEEET....!

Good luck to you at the IIC - I wish I could be there this year again but, I had already committed to the Nascar Race in KC this year w/my brothers... Last Year I went to the IIC - then the Nascar Race was the following weekend. Oh well maybe next year?

This is the setup I've been using the last few weeks with only a few variations.

http://www.corallyusa.com/setups/PHI_johnson1.pdf

28lb Spring in Front
25wt Oil in the back
Front Droop 2 - up
Front Ride Height 5
Rear Droop 1 - up
Rear Ride Height 4
Shock Pistons 1.3 - rounded
BTW... I'm running 4300 Brushless LiPo.. 1420g total weight.

The car has a ton of steering. I have the dual rate turned down to 67%. Carries alot of corner speed. Magenta's all the way around.

If you get a chance.... come to race with us in Omaha sometime. Jeff Brown & Brad Johnson came up to "The PLEX" HobbyPLEX Carpet Onroad Challenge last February and had a blast... The Next Big Race..November 1st-4th.

Track and facility pictures here...

BTW. I heard "The Plex" has submitted to be the host track for the Carpet Nats this year... so it might be a good opportunity to come check it out ahead of time?

OutofCash - I would start with TJ Bradley's Reedy Race Setup. This should be a good starting point. Then make adjustments as necessary. I hope this helps.

Thanks - Brad

Brad, going to make it to this years Omaha Carpet Challenge again? You, Jeff Brown, Kyle Gannon, and Yari drove an awsome stock a-main last year, except for that little broken a-arm at teh start, Kyle can change an a-arm pretty fast

Donīt think thereīs an advantage. Iīve got the Corally spool as well. Just wanted to try something different and itīs never wrong to have an extra spool in the pitbag.....

Do you triple shrink wrap your cells or something? I had to do some dremeling to my slots, but nothing major. My older IB4200's fit with some air between them and the topdeck, and the EP4200's are a bit smaller.

I thought the build was very smooth and the diffs weren't too bad once I understood the methods for assembling them. I will say that the first diff took quite a while to get right! The second one was done in about 10 minutes or so.
