And use a really short ball stud. The one pictured is too long in both directions.

Absolutely Stormer...usually had good pricing too.

I have not seen Corally RDX parts on Ampdraw for awhile.

thats a bunch man, i just got oneeeeee more question.

where can i find those screw in weights? i checked every page on all of the sites besides corallyUSA and i cant seem to find them. i need them for the upcoming regionals to make weight (car is like 1300grams, needs to be 1420!)

i know i could stick weights on but i really wanted to use the screw weights so i could keep them secured and right in the middle of the chassis

lol, a quote at my local track was, wtf $90 in weight for my $30 lipo tray. I had got my car used and the prev owner had shoo goo'd regular weights to the tray and that worked out well.

DDD,

If you use the add-on Specialized Battery Tray ($30ish) and a 5000 lipo pack ($100+) you won't need the Corally screw-on weights.

Otherwise, I can sell you my weights for 50% off. I have the tray and larger packs; so, my rig is at 1425-1430 gms (with body) and without weights.

But, I'm headed off to the IIC in a few hours...Back in a week.

to be honest, i wanted to try to keep the battery under the top plate. i think it kind of stiffens the car because it wont allow it to flex, and i want to keep everything as close to the center as possible. i've though of going that route...but it was kind of "eh"

hi guys,

I just bought an unused 2007 corally RDX Phi with 3.5 novak motor, GTB speedy, Spektrum Rx and Hitec digital servo. i still need to get batteries for it. was thinking the 3800 intellect lipo's or maybe the 5000's.

One quick question though. The front diff is a one way and i hate it. Our track has way too tighter turns for a one way so i just cant brake enough without losing control. is there any way to lock the one ways? do they fit in the rear. since i have a standard diff in the rear i wsa thinking lock the one way and switch the front and rear diffs around. unless someone wants to do a swap for a normal diff? i'm in Australia though......

also, where is the best online place to buy corally parts from? No shops anywhere near me deal with them.

thanks in advance
Alex

You can order your parts from either www.teamcorally.com.au (there online shop) or from www.nbhc.com.au

I would grab a spool for the front and keep the diff in the rear, you can grab one from the places Alex has listed, it is pretty much what everyone who has a PHI runs on asphalt. Superb under braking and gives excellent drive out of corners.

holy Crap

a spool from corally australia cost $71 plus shipping, ad from the other place is $107 plus shipping...... i think i'll buy from the US. that ampdraw.com has the same one for $30.

so a spool is just a locked diff isnt it? and put it in the front? i was only going to lock the rear and have the diff in front since i will be using this car for drift aswell. but i guess that easy enough to switch.

thanks
Alex

are you guys running the lipo tray with your car? i currently run the orion 3800mah 30c pack and it just squeeks in under the top deck. i kind of wanted to keep it so that the battery was right under there so it didn't throw off the suspension geometry but..i might have to. could you list some of the packs you use?
