I don't know about the other cars you mentioned, but the TQ/winners car I can assure you had no proto parts whatsoever. All regular, over the counter/available parts.

There is still life in the old girl yet,

We had just had the Victorian State Titles in Australia and using a standard PHI managed to T.Q and win the 17.5 class. In a field consisting of Schumacher, X-Ray, Tamiya 416 and Associated I was the only runner to crack 23 laps with all others in the 22-21 lap range.

If the new car gives more grip and more steering please bring it on as I am still loving the current cars performance and if the new one is better I can’t wait.

Here is some photos of the track and the event as well as my set up sheet, it was on a painted Asphalt traction surface paint.

Cheers
James

International Corally site says PHI09 now available. How long before it comes to America?

It has arrived! No spool included, instead a one-way (why?). I test fitted a Lipo (Corally 5000) and it fits without any problems with a few mmīs to spare.

In the broschure that Corally released some time ago it said that the EU-kit would include a spool. Thatīs why I reacted.

I dont believe you will be able to move the shocks until they come out with the straight arms. At least that is what I got from the post on another page.

It does say so in the manual indeed Simon, but according to what I heard Simon is right, and the only kit now available is with a one-way.
