All of the setups I had were 60/30, I had losi 35 which is probably close to AE30, and I didn't change that, so I'm not really sure how changing it makes the car react. Lowering the camber link position gave more rear bite and a LOT more off power turn-in. I had had some higher front roll center settings and was using raised ball studs prior to this race all that I took off/lowered.

before changing oils, i would first try and lower the shock angle....

Talked to Jeff Brown on Monday. He didn't have any news on the Phi2.

Also asked about the new steering knuckles with the revised tie rod attachment points. Not available until after the Phi2 happens.

If I am from dirt racing going to try on road carpet and asphalt is this a good car to start with? I was considering this or the AE TC or ?

I would be running a 13.5 motor!

Thank you in advance

IMO, the Phi is known best for being an outstanding carpet car with 17.5/13.5/10.5 motors; but, is still usable on asphalt (with a few mods). I currently use one Phi for both carpet and asphalt because my setups are so similar.

The newest Xrays can be setup to work better on asphalt.

Did I say that???

The Phi 2's steering looks to have more potential on asphalt than the current Phi. Should see low priced Phi's for sale when the 2 arrives.

Checked there, they only seem to have the front one way/spool pulley and not the diff.

Ill hold off for now i guess until some shop gets both.

I find it hard to believe Corally U.S.A. don't have at least a ball park figure on the release of the PHI '09.

Sorry! I didn't ask for a "ball park figure"...not meaningful to me.

May/June Release date is what Ive been told from Corally Aus. But that may even be extended depending on the development of the Phi 2
