SalvadoriRacing,

If you wont to move the motor freely, the most suitable is the 81 teeth #2381.

Yes, the delrin is very durable, but check always the plastic blades and replaced them frequently, otherwise if the pin marks the delrin out drives then the plastic blades only last one run.

Boa sorte!

Hi there chaps, just wondered if anyone has any ideas on a handling gripe I had this weekend, i was running 10.5 with muchmore 32 rubber tyres, on carpet

Front
40w
17lb
2nd hole in on shock tower
2nd hole in bottom row camber link
med wheelbase
low roll centre (dots down)
droop 4 (hpi guage)

Rear
30w
14.5
3rd hole in on shock tower
standard rear camber
med wheelbase
2.5 degrees rear toe
low roll centre (dots down)
droop 4 (hpi guage)
Think thats about it....

now for the gripe, I had slight understeer going into the corner, got to the apex and the car hooked (snap oversteer) then understeered out

I did manage to get it drivable, but it was on a knife edge all the time, and you really could not trust it doing the same thing twice.... leaning the rear shocks in helped a little..

Any thoughts??

I need some feedback guys...............

When running rubber tires on carpet, are you using a front diff, spool, or one-way?

Also are you guys running the narrow front steering hubs/axles?

Try 50 wt oil in front and change the droop to #6 in front and #5 in back.

Thanks for the idea there, but i was lacking a little initial turn in, so the 50w oil would have made this worse.

more of mid corner hook, but i do agree, the feeling was like the front was too soft on track.

Most of the guys running rubber tires on carpet are running one-ways and the stock steering knuckles..

hello,
does anyone has large amounts of play on the alloy ballstuds? the Corally book says that they are 4,3mm, but all mine are 4,2mm witch gives about 1 degree camberplay, and 2 degrees toe-out play. the steels ones are allright, and so I've in front absolute no camberplay while they are operating smooth. car is built new, so it isn't any kind of wear I think. is there a way to reduce the problem?

thanks, Danny
