Whats the deal with Corally Parts Support ?? I have owned my PHI for a couple months now and it seems whenever i need a part there not available
im having nothing but probs with leaking shocks ?? ($500 car should not have leaky shocks i have 2 both leaking) and can not find the optional bladders anywhere, Also looking for front arms they have been out of stock since i bought my cars. I like the cars but cant keep taking weeks off due to lack of parts. Is there a reason for them being so hard to find ??

If this goes on much longer i will switch to different Brand Car

Are you using 1 or 2 orings in the shocks? If you switched to 1, you'll need to use additional spacers the take up the room in the shocks for the oring that is missing now. The only reason they could leak is that reason.

Superior hobbies has arms in stock. I just got some today.

They leak out of the top and when i remove the cap the bladders are
INSIDE the shock bodies. I have read that its a common problem and this is why people use the Tamiya or The Speacialized bladders.

here you go..

Are you doing the trick with the X-acto handle to push down the bladder from the center? If the bladder has a little bubble popping up from the center or it isn't perfectly seated around the edges it won't seal correctly and your shocks will leak.

Also make sure that when you tighten the cap you do so by the aluminum nut and not by twisting the plastic eyelet. If you spin the eyelet to tighten it up you can unseat or tear the bladder that way.

So how does that car work with all those parts on it? And do you feel much of a difference with the shocks mounted on the back of the tower?

Hi Mike,

I am running the ultra short wheelbase too with the 36T pulleys. Has been my only outdoor setup for the last 3-4 months now. Will be running it in the KO Propo Grand Prix at Speedworld this weekend.

There is a TRF415 low friction rear belt (white) available too. It is Tamiya Part No. 53707.

I would be interested in seeing your Phi setup...What motor(s) is it for 13.5/10.5/mod?

Are you using a smaller spur gear than the Corally 98T 64P unit? If so, which one?

Thanks.

Bill

All,

Can someone send me a setup sheet in word or something I can use?! I'm not very savy on computers.

I've been working on this set-up for a while, trying new things and I've think I've nailed it for small/med track with med/high bite. Car is incredible
