He's gotta race foams somewhere.

Also, I got gangbanged by the golden ratio this week.

Hi,

Thank you, i am aware of the part numbers, yet they are not available in my country, this is why i need an alternate axle that would work.

Thanks Ya`All

1.) Front tire setup: using an indigo, cyan or some form of ‘front’ tire that has a harder foam on the outside is a time tested drive. Very ‘flowing’ with the default reaction being to ‘push’. Lots of lifting and rolling through corners to keep up speed.
a. I’d look at this setup: http://www.corallyusa.com/setups/PHI_boice1.pdf

2.) An all 1 foam setup: Using all magenta or all double pink foams (usually), this drive is much more aggressive and defaults to the back end kicking out or scrubbing in corners. However, you don’t lift nearly as much and its usually easier to stay in the line.

i. I couldn’t find it, but the setup for Jeff Cuffs is amazing. Johnsons setup is wicked fast, but pretty twitchy.

You didn’t say what class you’ll be running, but I know these two setups will work for 13.5 and should be fine for 10.5. If you are running mod, I can’t speak for these setups from experience.

Good luck!
Thanks for your advice ... just wondering, with regards the tyres you have recommended, what shore rating would they be equivelant to (front & rear).
I am trying to decide on an equivelant tyre in Australia.

Oh .. by the way ... I am running 13.5 brushless

Hi guys, I have been stepping into the on-road scene recently and bought my first TC....an RDX Phi.

After running it for a while, I noticed a few things and I'm working to improove.

The first item is the front bumper, well, the black "bat man" looking thing that sits under the foam. It gets broken very easily, bent, cracked and otherwise in a short period of time...often resulting in that part rubbing the race track and etc. I've been testing some different material and have found something that works extremely well, I've had a few drivers (dave ehrlich to name a few) testing these bumpers and have given them the thums up/nod of approval.

Basically, they hold their shape, dont break/crack etc...and at for the $15 shipped price, they'll pay for themselves after the first front impact.

Since I'm at work right now, I can't get a picture up, but I'll have one by tonight.

Soon to come will be rear "anti-body-tuck" plates that are effectively and efficiently worked into the chassis, I'll have photos of those soon. Also, I'm working on a front non-drag plate that fits under the "bat-man" plate...lower profile and raised a hair to eliminate drag while cornering.

PM me if you're in any way interested...
