any idea on when these will hit the UK,
but most pobley will buy one from the states or hong kong to save some £££ lol

Hmmm, similar in some ways to the old TA-02 SW Taisan GT Porsche. Similar era and body style too. Damn just sold mine still in the box a while back having a clean up.

There has been nothing official, ie from Tamiya, about how many have been released - 1,000 is just rumour. The initial release in Japan on 4th December lasted no time at all. I had a pre-order with RC Champ so was very happy to receive mine at a very reasonable price.

In response to another post in this thread, the kit does not have a serial number.

I picked mine up today also.....460 in my hands...

still would like to know how many are being made..

our LHS here which is the official Tamiya distributor in our country told me that it's only about 1,000 to 1,200 kits worldwide thats being made hope they are right for i also want one but the 2 kits that has been sent here is already sold out they have re-ordered for me but no confirmation yet if they will still be able to get one
