The car of the month is the T2 007 or Cyclone w/ BMI... Stick with a car that your LHS or track supports.

They both suck.

Honestly, if you have to ask what the "BEST" things to buy are, chances are you're not going to even notice any differences between them.

Go with whichever car you think is prettier. Seriously.

I have a TA-05 and i love it. You can keep up with the competition with it. The instructions are clear.
Tamiya TA-05................$154.99 at www.towerhobbies.com

OR... www.tamiyausa.com for info on it

How do you expect to get a "TRUE" answer to WHICH is BETTER for YOU? Guys on a web forum can't tell YOU which car is BEST for YOU!

They more than likely will tell you which car is best for them or which car they currently own...

For the hour that this post has been up and the 5 post you have made on it wanting web pages and prices you could have found alot of the info. YOURSELF. TRy "GOOGLE" search for race results from The ROAR Nats, IFMAR worlds, Snowbirds, Novak race, IIC, Reedy race and so many others....

If you look at the race results here in the US in Mod at almost every race this year X-ray has had a strong showing, in stk and 19t its been X-ray and Corally.

Now does that mean that if you go out and by an X-ray or Corally you are gonna win with it, NO! It just means that both are very capable of winning.

So for the answer to "which KIT is better for ME"

Ask yourself these questions....

1- Which kits does my local hobby shop have and have parts for.

2- Which KIT is popular at my local track.

3- Will the guys that run that car at your track help YOU with your KIT!

4- What do I expect out of a new kit? You said you have a TA-05 and are not happy with it, WHY? That car is capable of running up front at a club level, we have a guy here that has doen so on carpet and asphalt....

5- how much do I want to spend. Is it better for you to look into new or used?

Honestly performance differences between these high-end cars will be almost negligible. Between the two, I'd go with the Xray because of their excellent instruction manual and the fit and finish.
