Charlie couldn't post this himself for some weird internet glitch reason so here is what charlie wanted to say to everyone watching from home:

Yo Bitterness- Thanks Man.... Glad he came back....

So you can't pick us up?? It's Friday at around 12:30 in the afternoon. If not, My aunt can probably come get us too. Just let me know

Barry- WORD, I feel you're pain, Jilles looks like he could have used a day or two more "off" from racing for sure.

Daz- He's trying, but well, you know him.......

Qualifying just started, we'll be on the track in a few hours

Jille's car is getting better for sure. He's sorting out the details and needs some rest.

Victor had gotten some sort of bug bite on his leg and had to take a day off. So he missed a bit of practice, but is car is good. bad luck in his Controlled Heats though I think.

I'm sure Reto will be beat me to the next post though.....

And he's in first??? Oh right...He's not. So how exactly does that put jack squat to rest? I was being nice and quiet so the thread could stay about the race and not trash talk about the fact that Xrays still suck on asphalt so how about we get back to that shall we...there will be plenty of time to talk trash AFTER the race.

Anybody able to fill in the gaps in the top 10 on what chassis are being used, and whether or not they're using brushless? Any insight into what brushless would be cool too.

I don't suppose Corally has anybody at this race with the new Phi?

I can't post pics, but maybe Charlie can. I also think our japanese friend is posting full results here: http://teamnovi.blog.drecom.jp/

As to what stuff people use (car/motor&battery/speedo):

1. Shin Adachi 20 5:11.3 - Kyosho/Checkpoint/KO
2. Hideo Kitazawa 20 5:11.5 - Tamiya/Orion?-Rush?/Futaba
3. Ronald Voelker 20 5:11.6 - HB/LRP/LRP (Brushless)
4. Andy Moore 20 5:12.0 - HB/Orion/Hara
5. Marc Rheinard 20 5:13.0 - Tamiya/Checkpoint/Hara
6. Meen V. 20 5:16.0 - Xray/Orion/?
7. Satoshi Maezumi 19 5:00.1 - Tamiya/Checkpoint/Tamiya?
8. Kato Takashi 19 5:01.0 - Yokomo/Checkpoint/KO?
9. Viktor Wilck 19 5:01.0 - Tamiya/Orion-SMC/Hara
10. Thomas Pumpler 19 5:02.6 - HB/Checkpoint/Robitronic

I do think that all fast brushed guys run 7t's, no matter what brand.
