TITC 2007

muahdib4 you seem to have a very strong opinion for one manufacturer over another, which you have every right too. But to demean other manufacturers is really uncalled for since touring car racing has as many variables to its nature to be successful, not just the car chassis alone. It is the total package that will delivers results day in and day out.

Good morning everyboy from hot Bangkok,
very humid this morning and we'll start melting pretty soon...
Short update from first round of practice in groups, which has just been completed. While HB-team seemed to be sorted out really well late yesterday afternoon, with Hara, Ronald and Moore doing the fastest runs. It was someone else this morning... Young local Thai guy Meen (using Xray car!) had a blistering run and overtook Hara & Surikarn towards the end of the run.
Definitely going to be very interesting, also Marc seems to get closer now to the top laptimes which are in the high 14's or low 15's. Fastest lap I've seen myself so far was a 14.81 by Ronald yesterday when the track was great at around 5pm.
One more round of free practice in heats coming, followed by 2 rounds of controlled practice today and the result from that will be used for setting up the heats.
PS: let's keep this a nice thread with useful information and not turn it into another "my car is better then your car" thread...

Ok what US races do the Asian Manufactures send thier top drivers too???
IIC and the Reedy (Heck that race it s the Tamiya head quarters they should have the entire team at that one) is all I can think of. And that is only a few drivers.
So maybe Xray feels they don't come the US or EURO races Why go to theirs!
So back to the race.....
