Default DHI Cup 2007

Breaking news:

Modified class will be run under Efra 2007 rules which means it WILL be run with 5 cells! Foreign drivers, beware of that.

6 cells will be used in 19 turn because the 19 turn class will be run under Efra 2006 rules.

More here: http://www.dhi-cup.dk/rules.htm

It's going to be funny when 19turn is as fast as mod.

Thumbs up

1 day to go before this big race in Denmark will start
200 drivers will be participating.

Tomorrow friday there will be 2 rounds of qualified practice for all drivers
Saturday 5 rounds of qualifying with 3 rounds to be counted
Sunday 3 rounds of finals with 2 rounds to be counted

New EFRA rules will be used in the modified class
5 cells and 1350g without transponder - unlimited motor

HB32 tyres on JB wheels with JB foams inside

www.dhi-cup.dk for more info
I think that http://www.rczone.net/ will follow the race closely

Good luck to all of us

Hi Guys, I just arrived at the hotel in Odense,Denmark,
Odense is about 2 hours from Coppenhagen. I had lunch with the event organizer Kim and everything is ready to go.

This being the first race under the new 5 cell rule should be very exciting. I think cars will be even faster with 5 cell and the less weight.

I think Heinrik will have coverage on rczone.net If I have the opportunity during the event to post anything, I will.

Looking forward to the race, leaving by car in 9 hours...

@Barry: too bad, no more saturday evening fun with you in the pub? I still remember that one...

@PW: good guess, it's way faster then 19t and I agree that laptimes are faster with new 5-cell rules then they were with 6 on indoor tracks at least. Just because of the lower weigt.

@Scotty: see you tomorrow afternoon and have fun in Odense tonight. I'm sure Kim and Jonas will show you the town...
