No he prefered bonded because of the brake feel and not any power or rpm issue. He did not require the additional power/torque which the sintered gives over the bonded on this technical track.
He could not test sintered much since it is not allowed for a very long time. He just didn't find a good personal setting for sintered yet since brake feel/"neutral slowdown" is very important for Ronald and his driving style.
It just is a good way to adapt motors further slightly and a simple swop since the rotors are identical apart from the magnet material. And with 5-cells reliability is definitely not an issue with either magnet type...
All other drivers ran sintered and were happy with the feel. So the bonded magnet was a "Ronald thing" and I did not try to convince him to use sintered since he did so well from the beginning...

Reto when can we expect the TC version to hit the shores of the UK and will there be a nosram version to match. I am so looking forward to the change to Brushless

I saw that happen at the Snowbirds last year. When the battery vented, for some odd reason, it exploded and almost took the leg of a chair. It sounded like a bomb went off. Hope that wasnt the case here.
