Default Getting High End Servo, Need help

Hey I have a tc3, and I'm looking in the market to buy a servo. I have my eyes on the 2143 and Airtronics 357. Should I get digital or analog?

What are some other good TC servo's?

Stay digital, but you can't go wrong with either. I run the 2143 now for a couple years and love it!!!!

Take a look at the Multiplex Profi Speed v2. They're strong as hell, reasonably fast and you can buy one for around 50-60 bucks new.

Hey, thanx for the information. I was wondering why digital? I heard that they don't recenter right. For the Ko I just saw that it was FET, what does that do? Also if I wanted the top of the line airtronics digital, would that be teh 757?

I've been using the KO 2143 in my TC's for a few years now and if I tried I couldn't find anything to complain about. Its speed, torque and centering are superb.

If you have a Computer Radio, buy the FASTEST servo you can afford. you can always adjust out some of the speed until you get used to it. Once you have driven with a High Speed servo (Digital is more precise) you will NEVER be satisfied with anything less again. Anything MORE than .10 should be considered slow. I use JR & Hitec Digitals with good results.

From my Friends that haved owned Airtronics servos, it is NOT cheap to have them repaired. Especially the Digital servos.

Both my JR and Hitec servos have 2+ year warranties.

I'm using the KO PDS 2123 - real good. Simply the one with the best data I could find but it also one of the most expensive

Digital ones: Smoother / better resolution, better torque regardsless of position and ultra strong holding power.

And a good servo is worth taking to the next car, when you eventually reach that point...
