Default 3300's Integy Discharge question

Whats up gang!!!
I have an Integy 16X7 Pro charger. This charger discharges at up to 20A. My 3300's are supposed to be dicharged to .90V per cell or 5.4V per pack(feel free to stop me when i stray). For some reason I cant get my charger to discharge below 7V for the pack.
Anybody know where I might be going wrong?
Is it that critical, can my packes be stored at that voltage?
Is there a really good method to discharge NIMH really accurately to .0 or 1V per cell?
Any input is much appreciated!!
Thank You, Kevin

Kevin,
try a set of lights with a cutoff switch. As for the charger...hmmm.How are you determining that it isn't discharging down to 5.40 ??

I use a multi-meter and check them before i store them. about 7.3V every time and thats after the 16X7 Pro discharges them at 20A

The (dis)charger goes down to 5.4 under 20Amp load.
When the discharge completes, packs will slowly regain voltage (there is no load) to the 7 -7.3 you describe.

That's perfectly normal. Don't worry.
