Tamiya Shocks on t2
 
Hi

i was thinking of getting some tamiya shocks for my t2 i have heard a lot of people say they are so good and are easy to work on so i want to try some my qeustion is if i buy the shocks in a set of 4 will they fit straight on or do i need other bits to add to them to make them fit if possible i need to know the part numbers for them as well ;)

They are nice, but I'd only do it if you can find the shocks cheap. I put TRF shocks on my T2, I like them but I do not prefer them over the factory xray shock. The alloy looks cooler than the plastic...but I notice no performance difference.

I used the tamiya ball stud and RPM ball cups to mount mine to the bottom arm, and long screws with double nuts and HPI shock mount inserts on the top. The TRF mounts come with two bottom ends, one too short and another too long.

They are easy to mount in other words..

i have 2 sets of TRF shocks....all i can say is, i love them! Build them once (correctly) :tire: , and you'll never have to rebuild them again!

Which TRF shocks do you use? 49355's?? Source?
