Brushless Question - motor comparisons

with the NOVAK Brushless motors

13.5 - 3300 Unloaded RPM and 165 WATTS
4300 - 4300 Unloaded RPM and 175 WATTS (10.5)
5800 - 5800 Unloaded RPM and 196 WATTS (8.5)
7.5 - 5800 Unloaded RPM and 275
6.5 - 6400 Unloaded RPM and 340
5.5 - 7400 Unloaded RPM and 380
4.5 - 9000 Unloaded RPM and 415
3.5 - 10,500 Unloaded RPM and 490 WATTS (3.5)

How many USABLE watts are you using?

How do you decide which motor to run?

It looks like POWER and RPM is no longer an issue, but how do you know WHEN you've got 100% out of the LOWEST motor?

wow... someone else answer this!!

What to use:

They're all roughly comparable in some way to their brushed bretheren.
3.5R 7t
4.5R 8-9t
5.5R 10t
6.5R 12t
7.5R ??
5800 14t
4300 19t
13.5 fairly close to stock. Just a touch faster..

People can freely debate whether these comparisons match up. But as a ROUGH guide.. they are somewhat useful.

And as for maximal use? If it doesn't thermal and it doesn't go any faster... then you're about there..
(I'm sure many others will have alternate theories..)
