Nothing is offical yet. However with the rest of the rc racing world changing it's forcing ROAR to do something.

I'm just pissed there are already two international standards, 4-cell and 5-cell. Why Japan and Europe could not agree on the same thing sounds stupid to me. So which does ROAR pic to mirror? My guess is Europe...

Europe 5 cell through all classes
same as BRCA same as Roar no probs all sorted
that`s what is needed ( but it won`t happen, just utter confusion as normal)

Next question please ?????????????????????????????

Didnt JMRCA decide after the Japan Nationals a few weeks ago that 4 cell wasn't the solution, and are going to move away from that to try somthing different?

If that is the case, ROAR surely is shooting themselves in the foot if they go with it and another major body has tried it and failed??

Just my 2p

Didnt ROAR already do this with the qualifications to run for president? Changed a rule but there are no minutes for it and we didnt even find out it had happened for 8 months.

We don't you all just sell your sedans, get you a nice buggy and a wheeler and be happy. Until they decide to run 4 cell offroad. And when that happens I'll just quit and go play golf.

Discussions are still going on at EFRA. 4 cell is prefered but many members are concerned about the need for reciever packs so they settled on 4 cell. Now they are having problems with chargers since some won't charge 5 cells....only 4 or 6.

I think it should be noted that "technically" as far as I can tell, Adrian has not specifically discussed the "WHY", but mostly defended the "idea". More so on the EFRA thread, but now here as well.

The EFRA does not dictate what we do here in the U.S. I am still waiting on the reasons we should do this HERE!

It's not there isn't a correct answer, it's that we still "technically" don't know what ROAR has decided THE QUESTION IS...

Good points, and if Billy and Adrian both are well aware of it, it would seem reaonable that at some point members of the excomm have/had discussed it. That said, why no mention in the minutes?

Adrian, I hope you know I personally am not hacking on ya. When you put yourself in a political position such as you are, people are going to ask questions when "situations" arise. And here we are.
