Default Rollout questions on these motors

I need to know what would be the rollout (or gear ratio) on these motors. I am running a T1FK'04 (1.77 internal ratio), 63mm tires on carpet. Track is pretty technical right now with one back str8 away about 50feet long.

Motors:
P2K2
Monster
CO27

Thanks, Chris.

Here are some helpful references and tools for selecting gearing/rollout:

Roll out calculator

rollout article

Each motor may need a different pinion/spur combination. This should give you a starting point and adjust as needed. Your car internal gearing is listed in the article so that is helpful. (X-Ray low ratio (T1FK) == 1.77 )

Good luck!

Maybe you should enter in the Truggy Nats.

I would start around 26mm with the co27 (7.61 fdr with 63mm tires), should be about the same gearing with the p2k2, and a couple of teeth lower on the pinion for the monster

Someone suggested to me around 29 for the P2K2 at the club. I guess that's why it burned up a bit. Monster was at 26 with no problem. 27 with monster, it lost some power at the end and was pretty hot.

I am waiting for my new CO27.
