Actually we put 1500mAH of storage charge in our cells after the final cycle but there is still a chance that a cell will short we put allot of attention on this but there is the odd cell that will make it out but we replace it when the customer contacts us with the cell info.

What is the difference between 4200 which are world class edition, and ones called "SHV", ie which ones are better

what signs should i look out for to know if a pack isn't in tip top shape already? or are there set parameters you use to determine which packs go with you to the race and which ones stay home as practice packs?

Hello everyone,

I have read many different ways to care/maintain cells. I was hoping to get the fact straight once and for all on Charge/Discharge/Storage.

Could some one shed some light on the following cells:

SMC 3300, not sure what versions, but they are not 1st version/revision.

SMC 3800, not sure what version/revision.

SMC 4200WC, Are all versions/revisions treated like Danny mentioned above?

The world champion cells are later revisions than the SHV cells and are generlly better.
