Dale,
Will there be a light-weight version of this body available soon? Or is this it?

Whats with the awful wing struts that go through the rear lights? Haven't seen those on a real Mazda.
It'll still sell by the bucketload though.

btw: Mazda has always been a great company to deal with - and their cars are not only very nice, but a great value for the $$ spent. Shameless plug - I know. But done in all honesty.

I'm unable to answer all your questions at this time, but I'll try to answer what I can.
-When will 200mm version be released? - I don't know quite frankly. Sometime in the future there will be body dimension rules (parameters) drawn up for 200mm by the group that did the GBS (Global Body Spec) for 190mm bodies. I don't want to invest time and money into a new mold until I know it will fit within the guidelines.
-Will it be available in LW (light weight)? - it's being discussed. Dealers and "average-joe racers/consumers" (in general) have not responded well thus far to the LW bodies.
-moonman: the older #1465 Mazda 6 will definitely stay in production and might even be the prefered body in some situations. The wing struts are being being shortened to conform to the GBS rules.
The GBS rules regarding "real" or "given" names? I don't really know about this. I believe it has yet to be determined. GBS is still a work in progress from what I've heard.
Thanks for the kind comments.
