2nd when Hara won the title
3rd when Surikarn won the title. (side note masami and surikarn tangled on the last main and masami let surikarn go. if masami would have gone the title would have went to Barry Baker.)
4th when Mark Rheinard won the title.
2nd to Andy Moore this year.

thats of the top of my head if i'm wrong please correct me.

Second video http://www13.ocn.ne.jp/~mirage-j/gal...pB/06exp02.wmv

Cars seem faster now but still slow

Masami driving is once more unbelievable

I'm surprised that No one is using a shaft car with efficiency being more important and the powers lessened.

That's because all the companies have switched to belt driven cars and that's the main chassis now. The only one that still have a Shaft Driven cars as their main chassis is Associated (maybe not for long), Kyosho (but this one is a twin), and Alex Racing Design. I did see a Stinger in one of the Picture. So GO the STINGER!!!

Hara is the man, but he's racing against the best in the world at this race, and the little edge could make the difference in the win. Just because Hara has 4 chargers doesnt mean the rest of us need 4 chargers.

Another thing that I find ironic is the fact that in Japan this weekend they will also be running the TCS (Tamiya Championship Series) Worlds they run 6 cells and I think may even be going faster then the J-Nats. Hara and Masami may be the favorites but the fastest cars running in Japan this weekend will be amatuers at a spec race.
I'd put my money on the A main drivers at the nats being just a hair faster.

Randy- You are right that he is racing the best int eh world and "may" need that little extra. And that everyone that is racing "4cell mod" wouldn't need the 4 chargers

BUt IF a guy sees HARA doing this don't you think he will want to do it also?
Plus if that is what it will take to get every drop of performance out of a 4cell mod car, how long before ALL the TOP racers are doing this?

The point I was trying to make is that the complaint about 6cell mod with 6-7 turn motors was speed and COST of replacing brushes and arms from the EXTREME heat they are seuing based on Timing and the voltage we have now.

But either way its still gonna cost money to RACE, I don't care if you are running Nascar, F1, Motorcycles, Boats or RC cars when you add the word RACE its neve cheap!!!

Belts are more efficient (sp) , two counter clockwise shafts make all hell when at full speed..Belts move back to front with no loss at all.Efficiency comes from a good finger and a very good motor guy..

your right on the efficiency on run time. I was also reffering to shaft maximizing the limited power of four cell especially out of corners.

I think you may find they are not slowing down for the corners

I wonder if they were still running 6 cells, would HARA be useing 6 chargers to charge each cell individually like he is doing for his 4 cells?
