Eddie and Eric..I will get back to you on the increased cost on the stock and 19T motors but I would figure the Japanese would be able to fix the tolerance and maintain them and discard motors that are not within 1% of your tolerances for between $2.50 and $3.00 per motor (your cost)

So let me know when you guys want to order the first batch of these motors......
Ernie,

I guess you must have misunderstood my post. I was not complaining about the motors but simply stating the fact that due to manufacturing processes there will always be tolerances. The way the motors are now fine as its the same for everyone.

I dont expect a 1% tolerance...or even 3-4% for that fact...Nothing is perfect unless you want to pay for it...If the general public wants perfection and wants to pay for it then by all means have them fixed.....but I am pretty sure that that is not whats needed or wanted by most. Some things on here get taken out of context....Number 1 problem with the internet.

$3 to $5 more to make a legal motor. Let me rethink my position against brushless and modified motors. Thank goodness my local club can not afford the $500 inspection tool.

The 13.5 class is rubber, right? If so, it seems to confirm that the 13.5 is slightly faster.

I didn't stick around and get a PDF of the mains, I had to get home to watch the Supercross.

In the past the first several races were A1's, so the fast guys better get there early. The sheet posted on LiveRC was uploaded (automatically) before the heats got rearranged, so get to the track early and check the heat sheet.

Which, Fast legal or Fast illegal? I would think you agree, illegal is illegal, fast or not.

Trust me, we have gotten our (Tag and I) tails handed to us before at CLUB races because Tag will not bend the rules, so if your comments about illegal are toward his fast being fast comment, not hardly any sarcasm to be used there. And yes, there has been "outlaw" stuff not teched at our club tracks, but yet we rather lose than his name be noticed as illegal.

Anyhow, that's my only non race related post, please don't expect a response.

My biggest observation of the race is from the Corally camp, Dayger being the man in both 19 and mod mains, very nice job. Layin' the smacketh down.

Cool to see Timmy run real well with the new AE car against proven race contenders. Obviously modified gets scutinized when it comes to analyzing the cars potential, but in todays crop of competitive stock racers, having a solid top 10 finish in stock means the car is very competitive with great corner speed .
