Im sure no racers would ever actually cheat lol. but either way, it can only be good to find them, if its a manufacturing problem, Id bet the tuners will find a way to check them and return or fix them so the motors they send out will pass tech

I have to agree with this.. I had bought 15 pairs off of ebay new in box.. lucky for me i got them dirt cheap.. however when i only got one run out of each one in practice 12th scale., it left a sour taste in my mouth.. thats why i never really ran jacos.. every set i have ever had in the last 10 years chunked before its time..They win alot of races, but when tires are handed out free i guess people can aford to run them..

Are the wraps really that much faster? Why are people getting so few runs out of them? You guys are making them sound like they're everything bad about foam AND rubber tires combined into one.

Wraps normally wear a little less...but AFAIK when you run at a "jack the gripper" track with good traction and a lot of racers, you'll probably get .5mm of wear per run.
At a big event that has some open practice (like @ Novak), that can equal a lot of wear.

Wow, I just saw how many practice laps people are running! Makes sense I guess. So the wraps wear less, but can't be run down as far. Does that make their overall life about the same as a normal foam then? I've avoided wraps due to the increased cost being hard to justify in club racing, but it sounds like people think it's the one true foam tire at big events.

as for the specs on the motors, roar uses +or- 2deg. trinity says +or-3 deg. the arms that are in question are from previous races or tuners that have cranked the arm... The comm locks now aren't actually locked, you can get an additional 5-8 degrees by cranking. The previous races didn't check this or were not informed enough to check this, luckily we have people ahead of the game at trackside to enforce the rules and keep it a even playing field.

Now that is funny... Trinity is on the Excom at ROAR and they still can not get on the same page... Maybe they should try a sleep over

About 20 minutes left until FantasyRC closes! It will close right after sportsman and mini's are done. All classes except those two will count towards the final standings. Go to www.liverc.com to create your team!

Audio and Video is also up. It is free to everyone for now, but it will probably change to Bonus Lap Members once everyone starts logging on and it gets busier.
