Billy Easton had the fastest Mod Sedan today. He was TQ, but worked on his car instead of running the main. LeMieux easily won the main, by almost a lap (.04 I think). You can view the results on www.liverc.com.

Tuesday nights racing will be on LiveRC as well.

I confirmed with Barry that he had some bad ideas for New Years eve, but no cops were involved.

Trackside has a special deal for the Novak race. I bought the GTb yesterday for $154.99 and the 13.5 motor for $74.99 (I think those are the correct prices). The 13.5's Novak provided to Trackside have a preintalled sintered magnet rotor (a $30 option or so), which makes it a fantastic deal.

Another thing I noticed in the results is that the fast lap column of the results is not always correct. I noticed in the lap break down there are several laps that were faster than the one listed as fast lap.

How about, I dunno, some way to leverage RSS to keep up what's going on at a race? Like, say, an RSS feed that gets populated with the results of each race (as an item) so we can just add the feed to our favorite reader and see updates as they're pushed out. Sometimes, the worst part about getting results is trying to navigate the pages where they're hosted, and then hoping they're in some kind of reasonable format that's easy to read. Not everybody uses the abomination called Internet Explorer, and some of us don't even use PC's. Some of the sites where results are hosted don't properly render in all browsers, especially when people use wonky PDF2HTML converters that were written in VB by child slaves in India.

RSS is easily parsed by anything that speaks XML, making it a convenient format for data manipulation. It wouldn't be hard at all to suck lap times into an RRD and create all kinds of pretty graphs with RRDtool to visualize changes in lap times and stuff.

Oh, c'mon, talking to USB and serial devices isn't rocket science. :-) I only made that comment because the one above mine was talking about bugs with the way lap times are displayed online.
