Here is a picture of our new alignment tool. It should be available by the end of this week. Yes it will include the pin to run through both bushings or bearings for laydown brush hoods.

The handle looks nice. Can you anodize it black so it looks like a Hudy handle? Will be a fair good match then.

It probably can be anodized because it is made of aluminum. I have not really looked into it though. If I did do it though, the availability date would probably be pushed back some.

Yep, anodize the "knurled" portion black and leave the bands silver, it will be a great match to our Hudy tools. Anodized it all blue then it will be a match to the Tamiya TRF tools. Kraig, you can just release those as optional colors or handles at a later date so as not to push back your release date. By the way, how much is the est. street price?

That is something that could be done in the future. The tool is going to be $24.99.

Unfortunately it cannot. The brush dimensions are different for the Trinity modified motors. It will work with both laydown and standup brushes.

We thought of that but didn't think it was a good idea. It was more cost effective to do it the way we did it. Plus when you are trying to align one brush hood you would have the other end of the tool running through the other brush hood.

What if the handle has two alignment bars?

On one side laydown and standup conventional hoods, and on the other for P94/D5 hoods.
Or better yet, if you sell the handle why not sell it with 3 different bars?

I have an alignment tool from racers edge (if I remember correctly) and they did it for laydown and standup brushes for $14 !!

The handle is a bit overkill, I think. It solves a problem that really does not exist. It's not like we need to apply huge forces to the hoods and need the grip the handle provides.

Just my 2 cents.
