Quante - Mine are different than any others and the cage on mine holds up as it is a solid piece with the balls precisionely (sp?) set in - your "opinion" is appreciated but cannot be backed up since you have not tried ours.
Added 1/8 to my order and they will be here next week. I am adding to the site now.

With high rollers I have .06" of shims on the inside of the front tires with high traction. Rear is stock, whatever came in the kit.

Exclamation Re...GTB4CELL Install

hey guys I just opened my Novak GTB-4. Does anyone have photos of an install in the GenX. Is there a preferred location or directional orientation of ESC. I'm using an Airtronis 94145 servo offset to the left with kit red mounts. Any help would appreciated. Thanks!!!!

On the rear with prizms, I use 5 shims on the left and 6 shims on the spur side (172mm). Front I run 166 to 168mm. CRC rear tires 2 shims left and 3 shims on the spur side.

It's gonna be a tight fit but it will work. I put mine to the right of the servo, almost snug up against the fiberglass battery bar brace. It will probably hang over the edge of the chassis a smidge. The wire side of the speedo is on the outside of the chassis. The damn cap is the biggest problem. You could probably mount it in front of the speedo, but ya really can't see the set-up lights too well when ya do it this way. So I've just got mine loose and just snug it up in the driver's shell when I put the body on. Just make sure that none of the ten million wires impede the smoothness of the suspension. Hope this helps. Have fun racin'....It's a hell of a car

I mounted mine the same way with the cap in front of the speedo wedged betwen the right front arm and the servo. I would post pics but have no camera with me. It looks like there is a lot going on on the chassis but it works out okay.

As far as rear track width goes. What does widening the rear track width do? Sorry for all of the questions. I am new to 12th scale, but am loving this Gen-X car.

the wider the rear end is, the more stable the car is, and the less steering the car will have...
