I just got off the phone with them. They said the first batch sold out, and the 2nd batch is looking like it will ship first week in December. As they know more, they will post info on their web site.

Hi Mark,

Can we use the regular spring .20 or .18 with the new front.

Any tips or precaution when building the car?

Thanks

CRC's web site says:
Quote:
Easy to solder, plenty of wire and motor room and THE Lowest CG of any pod in the business.
I don't understand why they claim this. Sure, there is a small weight reduction from the minimal carbon fiber top plate, but the full sized aluminum left bulkhead is far heavier than the average left side aluminum bulkhead. To me, it looks heavier than a traditional pod, and looks like there is more weight up high due to the left bulkhead. What am I missing?

Also the bulkheads themselves have been lowered. If you notice where the motor screws go there is no aluminum over the top of the top slot. The motor screw will be acting below on the aluminum and above on the graphite to hold the motor in place.
