In Mod the only change we made was orange side springs. And instead of saucing half the front tire, I went to 3/4 of the front tire. Both cars were great, best 1/12th car I have ever driven.

Default Spring colors

What are the Gen X center and side spring colors and corresponding tension / weights?

I'm not sure of the weights, but here is the order from lightest to heaviest.

Orange
Blue
White
Red
Green

That should cover most situations..

Compound's should be in the instructions! Check the back section and see the option parts. The one's without the asterisks are whats in the kit. The spur that came with my kit was a 98 tooth?

I think the kit comes with pink rears/magenta fronts. Let us know what kind of motor you are running and we can help you with gearing.

Trinity Cobalt 27t pro. Also I forgot to mention, I know for a fact my rear is magenta b/c when I opened the kit the rear tires had a pretty deep grove, so my lhs swapped them for me.

Thanks for that, but why do these kits come with different spur gears? One kit will have 100 the other will have something else. So I wonder if the tires are the same way. Wonder why they wouldnt just mark them. Its just a little sticker LOL

I have a dumb but serious technical question for Gen-x owners, has anyone tried running a Gen-X with an ASSOCIATED frontend, I know, it's like putting a ford motor in a chevy... but I am serious, just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought.....Thanks!

I am new to this, but have been doing a lot of research. I have heard of many people mixing front ends and am pretty sure I have read about that combo you are reffering to. All I can say is give it a try and let us know.

Default rctvlive interview

I watched the owner of crc on www.rctvlive.com the other day. He talked about new front end parts that should be out. Does anyone know what I am talking about and when they will be out?
