I recommend the MRT MX speed control. It's as small as the ones you listed, the specs are equally good, it's reliable and fully waterproof. You can even get a custom one and choose the case colour, LED colour, RX wire length, switch wire length etc. I think they're now being imported to the US by EA Motorsports. You can find further info on the 'New MRT ESC' thread on this forum

Hey RocketRacer,

just a reminder that ko propo vfs-1 pro comp = hara twister 2.1 inside. hara just has a carbon fibre looking exterior that's all.

I would recommend waiting for the pro comp 2. it will be the newest esc out when its out i think. also if you don't want a pro comp 2, the price for the pro comp will drop too. so its a win win situation!

if you want water proof the mx is the way to go, i have read the threads here for a bit (never used one myself since i have a vfs-1 pro comp)... and basically everyone's said it is 100% waterproof.

I do not know anyhting about the icube (haven't even seen many threads on here about it).

Check out the new Tekin series of esc's. The Fx Pro and R1/R1Pro should easily fit your billing....

i though long and hard about it. and realised that the differences between the top ESC's would be minimal, plus the ICube has a data logger that interfaces with a pc. i like that.

i will tell about how it feels once i run it. i'm not expecting it to be very different to the Novak GTX that i currently run. but a run on the track will tell.
