Ib4200 Care
 

I just got some ib4200's and I wont be using them for another half a month or so how should i store them (4cell) and then after November the 13 i wont be using them until janurary, How should i store them.

Store them with at least 1/3 charge, and cycle once between uses if possible to keep them from becoming flat.

I havnt charged them at all yet, should i charge them fully then disharge on the batman v2 and then put 1/3 charge in.

matt can you get your hands on a discharger like the ctx-d or smart tray etc? i would suggest you use one of these to equalize the cells and discharge them to .9 and give them their first charge and then discharge them again on the tray to .9 and put 1/3 charge back into them, ive found this is a very good technique. then once you go to charge them again you could either use the spintec or tray from .9 and they should bring you good results.

no do not use your zerov i believe they take the cells to 0v? which is not good for the ib42s, you really need to consider a discharger with an adjustable cut off voltage. This along with your spintec v2 will be an awesome combination.

You can use Zero-V BUT have to be carefull not leave your packs on it! As soon as the light is off disconnect the cell

my experience. IB like to be used on a regular basis. Weekly if you can. they go "off" faster if you dont use them than if you do. anyone else confirm?
