Hi I bought a Novak 25x25x10mm 5647 fan for my car to use to cool my motor. What do I conect the wires to. the fan is a 5vdc fan so can I connect it to a 7.2 volt battery pack with out buring it up?.if not what do I connect it to? Thanks.

You can connect it to the reciever 3 channel or the reciever battery slot....

Whether the fan can withstand a 7.2 volts really depends of the quility of the fan. Good ones can withstand 7.2V but not the lousier ones. I had one that I connect to 7.2 V and it burned up about a few packs. Then I replace it with a another one with the same dimension different brand and its still kicking after so long!!

I guess Novak's would have found themselves with a good fan manufacturer for them to put their good name on!

solder it to your esc wire (b- and b+) b mean battery wire the red and the black one. just make a connection or just cut a little hole on the wire and solder the wire from the cooling fan to the wire of the esc.
