Haha,

Also i think the brusless one may have better heat transfer as the can on the novak velocity is machined flat. maybe even use some thermal grease?

Cannot find any picture or information on the website about the brushless version.

Colin was there a noticable performance difference? i know you know what your doing when it comes to gearing etc and was wondering if it improved the motors performance with the 12 degree temp loss.

hey

we spoke on sunday colin and as i said if the motor isn't dropping off because its gear correctly what is the point of the tcs as you no colin richmond and i ran the same pace all day we both run kd 19t richmond was geared on 7.77 i was geared on 7.89 and there was no differnance in speed i can see in summer time when its hot yes it could help as long as you got a good air flow to the rad but i will point out you are not alound to cut any holes in the body shell or alter the front bumper to aid colling or down force (BRCA) so for the tsc to more afective shorly you will need an aditional fan but we shall see when the weather gets better.

There may not be as much performace gain. But cooler is better when it comes to motors. cooler you keep it the less likely it is for the magnets are to go soft throw a wind... etc etc etc. And for brushless it could really really help us out

oh yes i totaly agree with you im not convinced with tcs yet for example the collant is coming off warm after a race and its difficult to cool somthing down with somthing thats warm if the rad and the pipe work was cooler after a run i would be a little more conviced also it make your motor stick out the car more than it already does but like i said before we shall see how it goes in the summer.

not at this temp at this time of year ,but come summer then it will work a treat (i hope.think)

but with me motor coming this warm off track after 5 mins ,it can go 3-4 races with out to much trouble @racing speed

Q)is it worth it ??
yes to me ,since i haven`t got one of them fancy discharging trays for like 140.00 ,my money went on this instead which is around 100.00 fro the TCS system

so you think the coolent should be cooler then it was after a run
it proves it`s working by being warm after the race ,heat is being transferred from the can to the coolent `it does what exactly says on the Tin`

dont get me wrong colin i agree it works i personly think the coolant should be cooler i think what needs to be found out is how quickly the coolant warms up during a run if its the first minuit thats not good if its towards the end off the run its probably about right

so 12 degrees of temp difference did not create any notable difference in performance?

I'm curious to see what the brushless version looks like, hopefully one of the developers can show some pics

Yes thats exactly what i want to see. If we could see a novak version that can be BOLTED to the speedo that would be great. It makes me laugh when you get heat sinks for speedos that are double sided taped on... Totally useless. On a PC the type of thermal paste you use can make the difference between a brilliant performing CPU and a dud.

for everyone saying that the rad and hoses are hot after racing, thus it does not work, have you ever touched your radiator after driving, well I will tell you it is hot, and it works, in an automotive situation, the coolent leaving the engine and then going through the radiator only loses about 5 deg. not very much you may say, but it keeps your car from overheating. I personaly have not seen one of these tcs systems yet, but the therory is there, if it will make my motor run a little cooler, then I think it would be worth it. Just what is floating around in my head.

sorry col worded it wrong should have said did it maintain performance longer!. As you say at these temps your probably not going to see the effects, guess i'll hold fire on getting one till it warms up or i move to miami
