Well from my expericances,
Buy once and hurt once. Buy cheap and hurt over and over and over again. I like KO servos, never have had one go bad on me. I would recommend a Name brand that if your servo does break, you can send it in for service. Hope that helps, -Shookie <>< |
Buy cheap, buy often.
When I finally bought a real sevo, I had problems breaking servo horns. A $5 horn or saver is still cheaper then a $15 cheapy servo. Save your money and buy a servo once. |

over the years i've used hitec jr futaba ko and multiplex..... and i have found that ko are the best by far, i now only use ko in all of my cars and in all of my boats as well. The multiplex servo that i've had have always started to glitch after a month or two, hitec have been the same as well..... just spend a bit extra and get a Ko, futaba or jr.... |
Hi,
I agree. all I run for servos now are either KO's or JR's. I have a Futaba in my E MAXX but thats it. I tried a HiTech (it came in a sedan I bought) and took it out after one run. Airtronics newest servos are good too but I haven't bought one only tried it in my T4. if I remmember right HiTech bought Multiplex a couple year ago. when Multiplex first came out they had good servos and a killer mini servo for 1/12th scale (smaller than the JR3550). send to money for the good electronics it's worth it. Thanks |
