Yet another company thinks they can make a quick dollar by jumping into the already saturated world of belt drive electric touring cars. And this one looks pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I am all for innovative design - but something just makes me angry when I look at this thing. Maybe its the fact that TM seems to have just replaced the gas tank and engine with a battery and motor. Maybe its the fact that it looks like Paul Bunyon cut out all of the aluminum with a chainsaw. Add to that, the fact that the battery is in the strangest confguration since.....well.....ever.

I also really like the wing design a la Kyosho VOneR. I would drive it off a cliff to see if it flies.

"Three belt transmission - The faster the car, the better the performance"
I am not sure exactly what this group of sentence fragments means, but I hope that someone could enlighten me.

Enough Said

Edit: I just noticed the Hard Racing designs comm lathe in the background of one of the pictures. I would much rather see a thread about that. Very trick and innovative indeed. Congratulations Team Magic for that one - an excellent tool.

I like it. The layout also. Innovative. A bit worried about the torsion front to back though. There's that spindly little brace bar gizmo on top of the battery. Unless that's a battery holder. May have to have a thicker bottom chassis deck than most electric cars. I'm thinking maybe even 3.5mm thick. But it's good cos it's no copycat, the FSR Bullet was no where as advanced as this.

Its interesting, thats for sure.

Remember the Street Weapon? Losi drivers (over here at least) got round the efficiency problem by dropping in faster motors.

Maybe 3 belts won't be good enough for 27t/19t, but could be the ticket for modified or brushless, especially with all the weight on the centre line.

looks Pap!
3 belt design is old skool. Looks like they have sacraficed the transmission at the cost of all the weight in the centre.
Imagine wiring in the electrics. ESC on the opposite side of the motor. Servo is in backwards and motor wires look a total nightmare.

It looks like they use their experience from nitro cars to make a platform for their EP car, and with their sucesses in the nitro class this can be somthing

looks like they use some part form the nitro car on it

Definitively something to keep an eye on

I suppose that Trinity will bring this car in...the (controversial) news in the nitro forum is that they are once again the US distributor for TM.
