Sorry to hijack, but what was ROAR's reply was when you called them to tell you were not receiving your RevUp?

Think my vote will go to Eddie O. Our current pres. completely screwed up the gas touring car nats.in Dallas, was asked to leave the gas offroad nats in Harlingen, and has done alot to hurt racing in Texas. I just hope someone will actually make an attempt to remember the majority of people that sign up for ROAR, do it for fun. That is something that has been missing for awhile.

How many times can it be said. The current Prez is a distributor for many major players in this industry. Heck...Many positions being held currently are by track owners and people involed with manufactures.

I know some current ROAR people are reading this thread; so here is a question. At the rate things are progressing with the IB cells (4200, 4200shv, 4200wc), I'm guessing a new IB4500 or whatever is very close. This is the same pattern the 3800 followed just before the 4200. The 4200 isn't even ROAR legal yet and I predict it will be out dated in the first few months it's legal.
Well said!

They no longer mail out rev-ups, you have to get them online from the ROAR web site now.

Eddie,

What steps would you as President take to make the EXCOMM more responsible to the membership?

The Bylaws need to be amended......with input from the membership. Right now as it sits, the only way an EXcomm member can be removed is by the rest of EXcomm......pretty much, we are stuck with these people if they are all friends....not saying anyone needs to be removed, but we need that little security there, so they think before making poor decisions...

bullfrog, sorry to hear you are quiting as a regional director. Florida will be losing out on that. I know I secured some votes down there though.

Scrubb, I support all types of racing. I own a track that has offroad gas and electric along with onroad asphalt and carpet.....which we have even turned into an oval before.

Later EddieO

Eddie,

This all sound great! Is this going to happen the same way for Oval too?????

It would be nice if ROAR helped promote oval more. Maybe we could get the turnout number back up where they should be!

Eddie,

What are some of the accomplishments you had as a regional director? What things did you do to improve your region?

Eddie,
Would you change the rules on the 19t's? Too many people are cheating. It was nice to see Bobby win the IIC with a tuned box stock MONEY motor!!

The rule was changes because of that guy from california that lost to rick.
