That was with 3x as many Xray cars at any given race as Schumacher cars....and No PDub.

and why does x-ray come out with a new car every year? Fk-05 then the T-Tweek and now the T-Teek 007

That is a very bold statement!

How long has Schumacher been around? 1980 just in case not everyone knows

Compared to XRay which started in 2000.

I would say that XRay is more than holding thier own only being down 79 titles.

Not bad for a 20 year head start

Here's why:

With these low turnouts, it wouldn't be too much work to compare the signature on the ballot with your signature on your ROAR application. I'm sure your annual application is on file, right?

Without this kind of verification, funny stuff can happen. Keep reading......

The powers-that-be have access to a master list of ROAR members. Remember, they're able to get such lists to confirm membership at Regional and National events.

What's stopping them from mailing in votes using someone else's name, address, phone number, and ROAR number? They have all this information on file already. It's not too much work...remember, less than 300 votes cast for President.

Only 5% of the membership voted...so they have just a 1-in-20 chance of picking the name of someone that is voting already. If a duplicate is sent in, it's just discarded anyways. If they stay away from the more active ROAR members, then their odds of success are even greater.

So a better system of voter verification is needed in the future, whether it's online or paper.

Just wanted to point out that under the current system, fraud is quite possible.
Regional directors are also able to obtain those lists. They use them to verify membership and residence for regionial events.

Eddie and Carl are both regional directors.

And nothing would be in place to stop them if they were to do it either.

If they're honest enough to NOT do that, then that's great. However, I'm not willing to make that assumption for everyone.

That has always been an issue - ignored as usual. However, Fred (who receives and counts) really has never given anyone cause to think he is doing something unethical. He seems to be a pretty stand up guy.
