I'm pretty sure Peter has been to a couple of ROAR events because he is a multi time national champ.

99% of the time..the good points of any ROAR event are made possible by the host track, any short commings are the fault of ROAR...

I just looked over the ballot...and here's something I would like to know:

Why isn't there a place for the voting person's signature????

Here's why:

With these low turnouts, it wouldn't be too much work to compare the signature on the ballot with your signature on your ROAR application. I'm sure your annual application is on file, right?

Without this kind of verification, funny stuff can happen. Keep reading......

The powers-that-be have access to a master list of ROAR members. Remember, they're able to get such lists to confirm membership at Regional and National events.

What's stopping them from mailing in votes using someone else's name, address, phone number, and ROAR number? They have all this information on file already. It's not too much work...remember, less than 300 votes cast for President.

Only 5% of the membership voted...so they have just a 1-in-20 chance of picking the name of someone that is voting already. If a duplicate is sent in, it's just discarded anyways. If they stay away from the more active ROAR members, then their odds of success are even greater.

So a better system of voter verification is needed in the future, whether it's online or paper.

Just wanted to point out that under the current system, fraud is quite possible.

Wait how can they have election results that fast? I see that the deadline is the 15. But why not make it postmarked by the 15? I mean if I sent mine from Ohio Monday. It will not get to CA in 3 days. I send stuff to my family in CA all the time. And a letter takes about 5 days.

Obiously you havne't been racing for very long so I will educate you a little.

Schumacher is a World Champ (4wd off road), Euro Champ (Sedan and 4wd Off road) and an 11 time US National Champion

How about Xray:

World Titles: 0
Euro Wins: 0
National wins: Less than Schumacher

The problem is if Xray keeps copying other people's cars you will always be one step behind.

I meant Europe...and I guess Florida too.

Manufacture Championship Final Results
1. Schumacher 246
2. Xray 167
3. Corally 103
4. Losi 19
5. Tamiya 9

That was with 3x as many Xray cars at any given race as Schumacher cars....and No PDub.
