Default 111 Mph

Cliff Lett and his 10L3 are featured in this months Wired magazine in a series about speed freaks. 111 MPH is good, can anyone go faster?

Black Label, yep your right. I think it was almost two years ago they made that run. The point was that the story was in a non-RC magazine. Not a mainstream magazine, but at least it was some pub for our hobby/sport.

Lunatic?...nahhh, that being said I do enjoy letting it wind up from time to time. The tricky part was holding the wheel with one hand and taking the picture at that speed.

Funny stuff Jon. Please don't take me literally by calling you a lunatic or anything like that My car feels rock solid at high speeds, it's as smooth as it is at 50mph with the only difference being that the landscape just moves quicker, a lot quicker.

Best part about that 111mph speed run....we were spinning the tires coming out of turn 4!!!! Had we had better traction, I think 120mph might have been reachable....
