Um yeah take the winners from lower mains who are 9-10 laps off the A-main pace and bump one to the A!!! That would make the A-alot more interesting!

WIth all of the B****ing about not "staking" the Quals. I can only imagine what some would have to say about this Idea!

I still say lock in the top 10 and Bump one from the B if the Bump and run is to stay...

With the format from this year not only did the 10th place guy get screwed but 10th in every other main was bumped back one main also...

But the B's were awesome to watch this year so I guess it did what Mike was wanting it to do.

All the stock heats were horrible. In most there were 3-4 VERY fast cars and then the rest were 3-10...YES 10 laps off the pace. It made it hard for some but thats part of racing.

Thumbs up Snowbirds Results

I'm finally back from the 'Birds and sunny Florida. Must say it sure was a nice break from the bitter cold we've had to live with this winter. Livin' in the "Great White North" pretty much sucks these days. Not quite as bad as what Dayger went home to though - 12 feet of fresh snow. Yowsers!

Just wanted to congradulate the 2007 Snowbirds Nationals winners that used Protoform Racebodies. As usual it was a great event that was extremely well run. Kudo's to Mike Boylan and his team for another superb effort!

Congrats to Jilles Groskamp! Finally, finally got your first huge North American race win. I always knew it was just a matter of ..."when". Thanks for keeping the win streak going on that Protoform DNA1 body too. Still hasn't been beat in north america - in a major event. (6 of 10 in the Pro Mod A-Main used it)

Congrats to Germany's Mark Fischer in 1/12th GTP Mod. Not only TQ'ed but drove a basically perfect run in the A-Main for the overall Win. (10 out of 10 A-Main qualifiers used the Protoform Speed 12 body)

Congrats to XRay's Martin Hudy for a great TQ and A-Main win in Touring Car 19Turn Rubber.

For his big Touring Stock Rubber A-Main win, a big Congrats to Jason Ertrachter who has now proved he's a winner - even when not on Las Vegas!

Congrats also to Mark Smyka for his TQ in 1/12th GTP Stock.

Protoform Racebodies were even more dominant in the 1/10th Oval Stock Car classes with 5 TQ's and 5 A-Main wins. (in the 6 oval stockcar classes run)

Many thanks to all who used Protoform products at the 2007 SnowBirds Nationals.

ps: for those of you who may be wondering just when Protoform will start pulling ultra -light sedan bodies in .020 lexan. In a word - NEVER. In all the years that I've been going to sedan races I've never seen the qualifying and race results more tarnished by "body tuck" and assorted other body problems. I witnessed first hand many frustrated racers and turn marshals. One-run bodies are just plain bad for racing, bad for the sport and bad for the industry.
