i think that you should run bowties, and make sure to have a few spare throttle servos on hand at the track in case you need to make a pit stop.

Interesting results in 19Turn.

There's 7 typically "Stock" drivers in the Top 25....intermixed throughout with the big factory guns that run mod.

That should quiet down the "Get the factory guys out of stock" debate.

19T is the new mod. It's where all the pros go to race together. How's that not more interesting than the same 20 guys in mod race after race?

The way I see it, at big races, stock, 19T and mod are for pros. I think it's flawed to view racing in the sense that better racers go faster. It just takes a different kind of skill to go fast with stock than it does with mod.

More specifically, it probably takes a lot more time and dedication to be fast in mod. With nearly 100% of club racing happening in stock and 19T, it's hard for part-time ("stock") pros to get enough practice to compete with the full-time ("mod") pros. You can't blame people for not bumping up into a class they have no chance to practice in.

Which brings us back to the 19T common ground. It's easy enough for mod guys to drop it down a notch, and it's not so fast that stock guys can't handle it, not to mention there's plenty of 19T racing in the clubs so they can get some practice. What a perfect compromise to unify the belts, so to speak.
