Default Is my pack wrecked?

Hi all, at the track i was discharging my IB3800 on my bulb discharger which has a voltemetre. Once the pack gets to about 6volts i take it off and put it on the equilizer.

Anyway today i forgot about my battery and it went down to about 2volts. I quickly took it off and put it straight onto the charger and put about 350mah into the pack. the charger said the pack was about 7.4v i think because it was still hot. When i put it on the equilizer after putting the 350mah into it, it took about 1min for the first light to go out then about 3min for the last light to go out.

Is my pack wrecked? cause i have heard that they can get wrecked if the are discharged to low? I charged it again that day and it took in the usual amount which is about 4000.

Cheers

Get a real discharger with an automatic cutoff.

I dont believe your pack has beeen ruined, but do agrree that you should get a good discharger provided the pack is ladder / saddle style.

However if you do have an individual cell cutoff you are able to modify it to change it to cutoff at 0.90v, with a few resistors

I have an equilizer that cuts off at .90v per cell. But that discharges at 5 amps and the bulbs discharge at 20.

So i use the bulbs first then equilize.

for me, i find it that if you discharge too low, it will still charge to 4000++ but you run the pack u will feel that it losing punch. got runtime but no punch....

Use the tray only untill u find a cut off devise to put inline with your bulbs. Deans used to make one.
