TEAM ORION SPEED WEEK IN GERMANY

I wanted to start a thread letting everyone know of the next big race going on. The event will be this weekend, I have the honor of being the race announcer and this will be my first time Germany so I am really excited.

All of the top drivers from throughout Europe and some drivers from Japan will be attending making for a very competetive field. Depending on the internet availability, I will do my best to update as much as I can. You can go to the website for all the information about the race , it is

www.tosw.eu

I am off the the airport for the trip.
I am going to stay over on Monday and Marc and Toni are going to take me to the Nurenburg ring F-1 track and we will do some other sight seeing. I want to drive on the Autobaun!
I will do my best to keep you updated.

Talk to you from Germany.
Scotty

Good luck Scotty.

If you meant the Nürburgring F1 track then here you can find more info about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%BCrburgring

Forget the autobahn, you need to drive the race track.

Mason 10-11-2006 01:15 PM

edit: yes i know they do, but i'm referring to the big track.

you can search for some motorcycle video of guys on the track. cool stuff.

They actually still race on the Nordschleife (the big track you mention). Mostly 24 hour races.

Btw...scotty...this is how us europeans do racing...on the nordschleife...the most fearsome race track in the world: http://www.jb203.com/Events/Personal...urburgring.wmv (53mb)

:)

Well, things are all ready to go for practice tommorrow. Most of the guys arrived tonight and the track looks great. We will be running both 19turn and Modified. the layout is a good mix of technical and flowing. The control tires is CS27 additive is open just no smell.

Tommorrow is practice all day with quals starting on Sat, We will have internet at the track, so I will do my best to update as much as I can.

As for going to the Nur. Ring, Plan is to go there on Monday and they said for 20 Euros you can take your car on it and do a lap! I am there. Hopefully Marc will let me borrow his car so I can do it!

See you tommorrow.

Shin Addachi and Kiyo Suzuki are here from Japan.

Kiyo is here supporting all of the Tamiya Team
Kyosho car looks very nice. Looks awsome all decked out in Red!
Full Xray team is here with new T2-007.
Juho driving the AE Prototype
Constant and full Corrally team is also here.
Reto from LRP here with many racers running Brushless
Oscar and Jean-Marc are here from Team Orion

I will try to get some more info from the pits and keep things updated.
Later,
Scotty

hello, any news about the practice?
Does someone have the address of the racetrack because the menu of the website seems not working for me?
