That isnt actually true. The rule book states "on or before Oct. 1" per section 8.3.6 so when they are "approved, they are legal. I was told (by email ) all approvals would be announced Oct 1 by David Lee but as of this writting, none have been listed with the exception to the body section. The DNA was approved and was annouced/listed before the Vegas race. Scotty had already said that they (the IIC ) would allow it to be run and ROAR annouced it legal before the race to clear up any questions.

Per the Roar Battery Approval Form:
6.1.1 Battery approvals will only be processes once per year. All cells be submitted to the ROAR Technical Director by Septemeber 1st to be considered for approval the following year's sanctioned events. The final decisions on approvals will be made on or before October 1st, and communicated to the manufacturer/distributor or assembler.
8.3.6 says the same thing. Once the batteries are approved, they still arent legal until the next year.

The way I see it, the rules states that decisions will be made on or before Oct 1st. It doesn't say when the information will be made public - only that it will be after that. Either way, I'm sure it's coming - be patient.

I double checked it.....maybe I can't read, but I don't see the IB4200 EPIC version at all.......so I guess no EPIC 4200 cells at ROAR races in 2007.....

I think there might be a couple more additions. I will post here if there are.

A couple more? You would think they are all approved at the same time, as there are dates and such that need to be followed......or are we seeing more back door politics...

No eddie anything that will be on the list has been approved. I think it has something to do with talking to the manufactures or something. But dont quote me as I am just posting information that I am given.
Dont try and start something that doesnt need to.
