Default Body Trimming

I have a question regarding how far you can trim the body. Previously I have always trimmed the body up so that I could mount the body as low on the car as possible. Now I have my first legal race body so I want to make sure I do it right. Does the body have to be trimmed along the lines and the body mounted at the right height for the body? Or can you mount the body low and then trim up the body? Hope this makes sense.

you dont want to mount the body too low and cut off aerodynamic features like front lips. mount the body so that the cut line for the body is right around the bottom of the chassis at ride height. from there use a regular sharpie marker and roll it along the bottom of the body. if you cut on the sharpie line its usually right around ride height to the bottom edge of the body...

ROAR has a minimum height restriction http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/2006rulebook.pdf , so I would mount it so roof is at least 130mm high then cut it.

That seems really high. I have a DNA1 body. With the body 9mm off the ground near the center the roof is about 115mm high.
