RC Screwz, Missing screws?
Anyone else purchase a RC Screwz kit for their car and find it to be missing screwz??
Specifically for the T2R |
No, but I ordered from them and they took my money and they never shipped my order. Sent a bunch of unanswered emails and ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I would say that company is definately missing some screws. |
Yikez thats no good.
I'll have to talk to the store I got them from. |
I usually buy a screw kit from them when I get a new car and I haven't had a problem. Acutaully I usually get a few extra screws ;) OH that may be where yours went

Yep. No problems here either - they have shipped a bunch of sets up to me here in Vancouver, and they've been great. I'm sure they'll help you out if you find you're missing some screws from the set.

i bought 2 screw kits from rcscrews in the past pretty good hard ware
but i had to use all the large counter sink screws from both kits to do one jammin half the diff mounting screws were missing in both kits bought a set from tony i will never buy screws from another company ever again https://tonysscrews.com/splashPage.hg for all you r/c screw needs full kits or just a handful tony's all the way |
McMaster-Carr is a great place to buy screws from. The only downside to ordering from them is the quantity needed, 50-100 per size. A box can last awhile, but it's one less thing to worry about for a nice long time in racing. They also have lathe bits, shims, and bearings that can be used in RC for very good prices.

So far I am missing one screw.
and im going to get that screw dammit. heh. |
Tony's Screws is awesome. Try some of his screw kits and you will not be sorry. Only problem they are not stainless, but they are definetly alot better quality.
Tony's Screws Later, :) |
Another good one to try is Fastener Express
I don't think they sell actual kits for each car, but there prices are good, and they also stock purple and blue alloy screws. Finally, for me in Australia, their shipping is very cheap too  |
